Diego Molina (b. 1974) is an award-winning architect from Colombia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1998. Diego began his career in Bogotá’s planning department before joining Giancarlo Mazzanti, Carlos Hernandez, and Rafael Esguerra at EHM Architectural Atelier, where he worked as a design architect on public and government projects.
In 2001, seeking to broaden his horizons, he relocated to Singapore to work at ONG&ONG Pte Ltd, focusing on the design and conceptualization of various projects. Initially, he led the design of a diverse range of projects, including private residential developments such as Boulevard Vue, commercial projects like The Quincy Hotel, and public works and master city planning initiatives in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, and Vietnam. During his first five years at ONG&ONG, under the mentorship of Mr. Ong Tze Boon, he gained a comprehensive understanding of the authority regulations and submission processes applicable in Singapore.
As a Director at ONG&ONG, Diego, together with María Arango, established a team dedicated to designing private houses, aiming to elevate contemporary architectural design and foster professional growth. Their focus also included the restoration of conservation and heritage buildings, resulting in numerous award-winning projects recognized both locally and internationally.
Most recently, in August 2021, Diego and María co-founded ArMo Design Studio, under the directorship of Dr. Goh Chong Chia. ArMo is a boutique design consultancy firm that adopts a holistic design approach, encompassing space planning, architectural design, and interior design for residential developments in Singapore and the surrounding region.
